Meet The KH&Co Principals
J. THADDEUS KEE, CPA
Thad is the president of Kee, Huchok & Co., Inc. He graduated from the University of Akron in 1973 and began work at Ernst & Ernst (predecessor of Ernst & Young). He received his CPA certificate in 1975. In 1983, Thad founded Kee & Associates, Inc., the predecessor of Kee, Huchok & Co., Inc. Throughout his career he has been helping privately owned and family businesses providing them with the traditional CPA services of tax, accounting, and financial consulting. He has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and personal taxes, real estate accounting and tax, accounting procedures, systems and controls.
Thad and his wife Barbara live in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where they have been actively involved in the community. Thad currently serves as treasurer of the Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest Committee which sponsors a weekend festival every fall to support local charities and civic organizations. He has also served as treasurer of the Cuyahoga Falls Jaycees and the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife were actively involved as committee chairmen of Cub Scout Pack 3180 and Boy Scout Troup 180 also located in Cuyahoga Falls. Thad also serves as treasurer of Loyola Retreat House located in Green, Ohio. On May 4, 2008 Thad received the prestigious "Magis Award" presented by Loyola of the Lakes for his extraordinary service and manifold contributions to its mission and ministry.
He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
PAUL E. HUCHOK, CPA
Paul is the vice-president of Kee, Huchok & Co. and joined the firm in 1999. Paul has worked in the accounting industry since 1979. He has spent the majority of his career in public accounting, but spent two years as the Chief Financial Officer for a group of eleven manufacturing and sales companies from 1997 to 1999. Paul has vast experience in most accounting areas and enjoys working closely with his clients.
Paul graduated from the University of Akron in 1979 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). Paul is active in the community and works with several not-for-profit agencies. He is on the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Leadership Portage County. He is also on the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Family & Community Services. Paul was a long-time board member of Big Brothers and Sisters of Portage County, prior to their merger with Family & Community services. Paul continues to serve on the advisory panel for the Big Brothers and Sisters' program.
